Rashid is a twelve-year-old Emirati boy, who goes to school at the Dubai Centre for Special Needs. He is a high functioning autistic boy with many different interests. Besides his love for music and arts, he is really into sports, especially swimming, cycling and ice skating. Rashid started painting when he was nine-years-old, but this project has particularly helped him to improve. His mostly colourful paintings are either abstract or depict people or nature. Water means swimming, boating and fishing for Rashid. He enjoys playing on the beach, collecting shells and catching crabs.
